Mission Statement

"Advancement of our Youth
through the Arts" ...by Alex Vargas

While Ballet Folklorico Azatlan's main objective is the preservation of the Mexican culture through the art of dance, we believe that tradition and authenticity should never be sacrificed for glitz or glitter. Based on this concept, our costumes and dance presentations are as close to tradition as possible.

Ballet Folklorico Azatlan has been instrumental in promoting youth participation in a fun but disciplined atmosphere. The students are encouraged and motivated towards a positive direction to form good morals and character.

We believe that we have been successful in accomplishing these goals.
